Simulation for Modelling Future Generation Internet

The EuroFGI Summer School entitled "Simulation for modelling future generation Internet" will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from August 20th to August 24th 2007. It is part of the dissemination work of the European Network of Excellence EuroFGI (Future Generation Internet) which is supported by the 6th framework of the European Commission research funding programme. EuroFGI interconnects over 50 international research institutions for carrying out research on next generation network and Internet technologies.

The EuroFGI Summer School 2007 will focus on application oriented aspects and problems of digital computer simulation modelling for future generation internet. It will provide not only simulation theory and methodology but also introduction of some popular networking simulation tools and case study.

The goal of the EuroFGI Summer School is to promote joint research of young European scientists from the area of network technology and to stimulate new European research in the field of wireless network technologies, especially Ph.D. students. The Summer School is intended to provide excellent education carried out by distinguished experts and a platform for getting together and meeting other young promising researchers from this area. The School is open to all applicants who carry out research similar to the one of EuroFGI.
