Guy Leduc Université de Liège, Research Unit in Networking Belgium
|
Guy Leduc is full professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of the University of Liège, and is since 1997 the head of the Research Unit in Networking (RUN). He graduated as an electrical (electronics) engineer in 1983 with the highest distinction and got his doctorate in computer science in 1991, both from the University of Liège, Belgium. From 1983 to 1997 he has been a researcher at FNRS (the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research) and is now Honorary FNRS Senior Research Associate. He is also part-time professor at the University of Brussels (ULB) since 1994.
His current main research area is on computer networks, and more specifically on traffic engineering, mobile communication, congestion control, multicast and autonomic/active/programmable networks. He is a project partner in TOTEM on traffic engineering, in MOTION on mobile communications, and in ANA on autonomic networking, and was a partner in the E-NEXT European network of excellence.
