Objectives and Benefits of the Summer School
It is the main objective of the EuroFGI summer school 2007 to establish a European
class of excellence in network simulations and modelling. It focuses on
application oriented aspects and problems of digital computer simulation
modelling for future generation internet and provides up-to-date information
to young research students.
The primary goals are:
to stimulate new European research
to promote the joint research of young European scientists working in the specified areas
to provide excellent education
to establish a further scientific qualification for Ph.D. and research students at the highest European level as an integral part of the NoE EuroFGI
to strengthen the efforts on scientific education in the research areas of EuroFGI by well-known European scientists that are actively involved in EU research actions, particularly of those European institutions with few staff
to provide up-to-date material for further advanced education in Europe
